Events
The Society organises speaker and member evenings on the third Friday of the month at
Binham Village Hall. Most evening start at 8pm but check the web site for specific event start times and dates in each case. Some of these are public events.
Speakers provide illustrated talks on a variety of astronomical subjects using our digital projector and other lecture equipment. These evenings are backed up with tea and biscuits, and a raffle.
Member evenings
These are a chance for members to meet and get to know each other. Evenings at Binham are sometimes structured round a topic of interest to astronomers, with demonstrations or short talks by knowledgeable members. Observing outside.
Outreach Events
From time to time we organise short talks to other societies on astronomy subjects. Our popular Moonwatch sessions take portable telescopes to various locations in this region and invite the public to view the moon and stars.
