Gift membership is an ideal way to start a relative or friend in the magical world of astronomy, especially if they are a beginner or inexperienced. As well as all the regular member benefits, gift membership supplies a number of books to help get started in astronomy. There's three starter guides, also the FAS Astro Calendar which gives month by month advice about what to look for in the night sky, finally Patrick Moore's book "Guide to the Night Sky: A Guided Tour of the Stars and Constellations". All for £30, together with a greetings card to mark the occasion.
To purchase, please complete our gift membership application form. You can choose to have the pack sent to you so that you can give it to the recipient in person, or we can post it directly to the recipient. You can also choose the most appropriate message on the greeting card. On the form you will be asked to fill in the recipient's details, address and email etc., and give your own details if you want us to post the pack back to yourself to give in person. Once the required details are entered, attach a cheque for £30 and send both to us.
